Use Q&A(question-answer) function in Zoom Webinar/Meeting

The webinar Q And A feature allows participants to ask questions during the webinar.

Panelists, co-owners, and hosts can answer questions.

With the public Q&A feature, attendees can answer each other’s questions and, if enabled, can also like each other’s questions.

The following describes the process of how Q&A works, from the questions the attendees can ask to the types of answers the organizer can give.

Frequently Asked Questions

Zoom Video Webinars have a built-in question and answer section as part of their platform. It can therefore be used for events in which attendance is limited to viewing the presentation only (like a webinar). There are a number of ways in which Zoom Meetings attendees can ask their questions, including typing them in the chat thread or using Zoom’s feature called “raise hand” to go ahead and ask out loud a question during the meeting.

With this option, panelists will have the ability to type their response to the question, which will allow them to be able to display their response on screen instead of having to type it out as a text message while answering the question. All attendees will not be able to see the questions until either a panelist selects the option that allows them to answer live or selects the option that allows them to type the answer.

It is the default setting to enable the public Q&A, so all attendees can participate in the forum by asking and answering each other’s questions, as well as by up-voting each other’s questions. The option of a chat feature in a webinar is one of the most useful features in the webinar because it allows the attendees to interact with speakers, co-hosts, and the presenter throughout the webinar.
