Zoom Dashboard is a solution that allows administrators to view information such as overall usage, live data during meetings, and more. By analyzing this data, you could determine whether issues have occurred within your company as well as gain a greater understanding of how users are holding meetings.
The data on the dashboard is updated daily at 12:00 GMT. All dashboard data is stored for 12 months at a time.

Getting started with the Zoom Dashboard has a few prerequisites
- Plan for Business, Education, or API
- Access to Admin Area
How to get started
- Join the Zoom web portal by logging in.
- Then click Dashboard on the left-hand side of the screen.
In order to view information for participants outside of your organization, you cannot view the following:
- Ip address (MAC address)
- of the camera (example: “Integrated Camera”)
- Device (example: “Windows”)
- Hard Disk ID
- Microphone (example: “External Microphone”)
- Speaker (example: “External Headphones”)
- Local IP address
- Data center role
Understanding what is meant by ‘Dashboard’
By clicking on the Dashboard tab, you can take a look at broad statistics relating to Zoom’s overall use. At the top left of the dashboard page, you have the option to filter data by date.
You will find quick statistics relating to users, meetings, and Zoom Rooms on the Dashboard tab. In many of these graphs, you can adjust the fields that are visible by clicking arrows. You can also export the information by clicking on the Export details to CSV button.
On the Dashboard tab, you will find a variety of statistics and graphs that will help you better understand your data.
Understanding the Meetings tab
There is a section on the website which allows you to view the total live meetings as well as the past meetings that have taken place. It is possible to export the results of past meetings in CSV format. This overview will be able to show you if you have been using audio, video, screen sharing, and recording to make sure that all your needs have been met. In addition, you are able to view the types of licenses that are assigned to each user.
You can find more details about the meeting by selecting any of the meeting ID‘s. Among the information you can find includes information on how users connected to the meeting and the quality of the network. If the host of a current meeting is currently logged in and active in the meeting, clicking the Join as a co-host button will enable the admin to join the meeting as a co-host. By hovering over the information icon on a past meeting, you will be able to see how the participants left the meeting.
The details of a participant’s connection can be obtained by selecting any of their names. This display shows you the current send and receive rates for various portions of the call.
As well as that, real-time graphs that indicate the quality of the connection to send and receive video, audio, and shared content will also be available. No information will be shown if there is nothing to send or receive at that moment. In the dashboard, you will find the following information:
- Bitrate – A measure of how many bits per second can be transmitted over a digital network at a given time.
- Basically, latency is the amount of time in which a packet takes to travel from one place to another. A sampling rate is the amount of time it takes for a packet of audio, video, or screen share data to travel from the Zoom client to the Zoom cloud.
- Jitter – this refers to variations in the time it takes for received packets to arrive.
- Avg. Loss – the amount of loss that a packet incurs, which is the percentage of packets that do not get to their intended destination.
- Max Loss – The amount of packets that are lost, that is, the percentage of packets that do not make it to their destination.

What are Zoom Rooms, and how do you use them?
Zoom Rooms is a part of the Zoom dashboard that gives users a quick look at what type of configurations a room has, its passcode, and most importantly, what time it is currently available to use for conference calls. You may be able to identify any health issues under the health column if you have Zoom Rooms Health Status Notifications enabled. To find out more about the room name, please click on it.

What is the CRC tab and how it works
The Zoom Dashboard includes a CRC section that lets you see how many CRC ports are currently available for use on the account. The max column shows the maximum total number of ports used simultaneously in that hour, while the total column shows the total number of H.323/SIP connections made during that hour.
What is a webinar and how it works
Webinars are similar to meetings in the sense that they are conducted online. Webinars can be viewed live at any time, as well as previous webinars. There will be no difference between the information presented in the webinar and what is presented to attendees at the meetings. It is possible to view basic information regarding attendees, such as their name, device, IP address, location, type of network, device, and when they joined/left in addition to the reason for their absence.

What is Zoom Chat and why it is important to understand it
On the Zoom Chat tab, you can see how users utilize Zoom Chat and how they are interacting with it. It is possible to see how many messages they have sent and received, as well as the type of messages they sent. Alternatively, you can search by user name or email address at the top of the document and adjust the date range at the bottom.

Understanding the Downloads tab
If you are exporting CSV files from Dashboard, they will appear in the Downloads tab. The report will be displayed with the report name, the date range of the report, the time of its generating, as well as its status. Understanding the Zoom Phone tab
