Yes, you can login without a Google or Facebook account. If you have an existing Zoom account logged in with Google or Facebook, you can add an email and password login using the same email address associated with your Google or Facebook account.

Note: If you have only ever logged in with Google, Apple, or Facebook in the past, you will notice that the Profile page displays icons that indicate Google, Apple, or Facebook, but there is no icon for email.

Procedure:  How to sign in without Google, Apple, or Facebook

  • Sign out of Zoom’s existing account.
  • Access zoom.us/signup.
  • Enter the email address that matches your Google or Facebook login.
  • Click Sign Up.
  • You will receive an email with sign-up instructions. Click Activate Account.
  • Enter the desired password two times.
  • Then click on Continue.
  • Enter the email address of the contact you want to invite, or select Skip this step.
  • Click Move to My Account.
  • This will take you to your existing Zoom account.

You’ll be directed to the profile page of your existing Zoom account. At this point, you should observe the presence of icons representing Google, Apple, or Facebook, similar to what was displayed earlier. Additionally, there should be an email icon, signaling that you have the option to log in using your email address and password.

  • You will see the Google or Facebook icon that has been displayed so far and an email icon indicating that you can log in with your email address and password.

Note: Following the above instructions, if you modify your sign-in email, you will need to sign into your accounts using the new sign-in email in order to continue using Facebook, Apple, or Google.


You can still check in using Facebook if you change your Facebook account email, but you won’t be able to use your original sign-in email and password until you also make changes to your Zoom profile.
